I have three 10 minute programmes coming up on BBC2's 'Wild' series, scheduled for screening sometime in Jan/Mar 2008. Terns of the Castle Coast - a film about the fantastic life cycle of the Arctic Tern, shot on the Northumberland coast in May and June 2007. Strictly Black Grouse - looks at the bizarre dance rituals employed by male Black Grouse to 'bag' a female, filmed in the North Pennines between April and June 2007. Avocets - Born Survivors - shot on the RSPB's Minsmere Reserve in May and June.2007, it looks at the history of the remarkable comeback of this fascinating shorebird. Terns and Avocets have now been screened, but no date for Black Grouse as yet, I will post the date here as soon as it is available.
