The Bird Fair at Rutland Water (21-23 Aug) is coming up rapidly, so it's full steam ahead getting prints made and mounted in readiness. I'm also doing more canvas prints this year of Albatross (various species), Curlew, Terns, Puffins and other Seabirds,there will also be a range of 12 Greetings Cards to choose from. I'm really looking forward to the Fair, it's very stimulating seeing other peoples work in the Art Marquee and getting feedback on one's own work from other artists and the public, it's also a great opportunity to catch up with old friends passing through over the 3 day event.
In November I will be doing a one day course on Wildlife Cinematography at the WWT centre at Welney in Cambridgeshire, then in early December I will be giving a talk to the Cambrian Ornithological Society on my trip to the 'Ross Sea and Sub Antarctic Islands'. I have just arranged my next Antarctic trip which is to the Antarctic Peninsula, Elephant Island and South Georgia. Just in case we haven't seen enough Albatrosses and Penguins I've tagged on an extra week in the Falklands, I can hardly wait, the problem is it's not until January 2017!
