Iron Curtain-Ribbon of Life
This programme looks at the great linear reserve created by the extensive buffer zones along the Iron Curtain, stretching from the Baltic in the North to the Mediteranean in the south. Within it’s boundries many rare and endangered species of animals and plants are thriving, due in many cases to the dedicated efforts of individuals and organizations to prevent modern development from destroying this unique area.
